No Bake Almond Butter Fudge Recipe

It is great to have something on hand to eat that is not a bag of potato chips or a chocolate bar. I have found that I really love sweet things but I also know that fats replace my craving for sweets. Here is one of my favorite easy-to-make snacks that most of my family enjoys.

This contains some really healthy ingredients and will help your brain convert from a sugar burner to a fat burner. Remember you don’t need too much as tempting as it will be try to keep it to one square per day…..OK……. maybe two.

Raw Almonds keep your insulin levels down after meals and are full of magnesium that helps with your circulation after you have eaten.

Coconut oil has so many benefits and among my favorites are boosting your metabolism and keeping inflammation down. (1)

So go ahead and start making these healthy bars for your family to enjoy.

1 cup raw almond butter
¼ cup organic coconut oil, melted
¼ tsp natural vanilla extract
1/8 sea salt

Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl until smooth
Use parchment to line a square cake pan
Spread mixture evenly in pan and freeze for several hours (close to solid)
Remove from pan and cut into desired size pieces
Transfer squares to container or bag
Store in freezer

For an extra special treat you can melt some raw organic dark chocolate in a pot and add some stevia to sweeten it. Spread it on top of half of the pan and then freeze. You may get your kids to try them if they are presented with chocolate on top.
