Gelato Strawberry Dessert

This is a quick dessert snack for the kids in the summer.

Both Strawberries and Avacados are full of antioxidants.

Avocados, which are actually classified as a fruit, provide energy from their rich are monounsaturated fat supply and are easily burned for energy. The 20 essential health-boosting nutrients they supply, including potassium, vitamin E, B-vitamins, and folic acid.

Berries contain concentrated amounts of the disease-fighting phytochemicals found to help prevent seasonal allergies, protect your heart, boost your immunity and prevent cancer. Berries are lower in sugar than many fruits which meands they are less likely to create high insulin levels when you eat them.

It’s almost like cheating eating this healthy snack.

Gelato Strawberry Dessert

2 cups or 10 oz bag of frozen strawberries
1 ripe avocado, pit and peel removed
Stevia/maple syrup/organic agave(to taste)

Put the strawberries and avocado in a heavy-duty blender (preferably with a plunger). Make sure you blend it well then add sweetener to taste. It won’t take much because the strawberries are sweet on their own.
